Storia

Secondo la leggenda il suo nome deriverebbe da quello di un eroe eponimocite-ref-2[2]. Secondo quanto dice mwiaPausania in città venivano adorati i sepolcri di mwiqAgamennone e di mwigCassandracite-ref-3[3]. La città esisteva sin da epoca antica e fino al mwjwIX secolo a.C. era una mwkacittà stato autonoma che poi passò sotto l'influenza di mwkqSpartacite-ref-4[4].
